Rogers and Simon best the Crimson for first playoff loss

Drew Rodgers went three for three with a double, and drove in two runs. Andrew Simon threw a complete game shutout. And the Mustangs pushed the Crimson to an elimination game on Friday versus Totino-Grace.
Highlights for the Crimson included a good start on the mound for Michael Ross (4IP 4H 2R 2K) and Brody Berglin (2IP H R 2K) finishing it off well on the hill, too. Nathan Schmidt went one for two with a walk at the plate. And Connor Wihlm threw out two of three base-stealers.
In the top of the seventh, the Maple Grove bats banged out a couple of singles (Dylan Vokal, Brady Aubut), but the Crimson could not plate a run.
