The hurlers displayed their talents for both teams on a beautiful Thursday afternoon, but Evan O'Dwyer (6IP, 3H, 2R, 7K) came out with the win and Brody Berglin (1IP, 0H, 0R, 2K) picked up the save as the Crimson sticks came out just better than the Tornadoes'. Parker Nedland (6IP, 8H, 2ER, 5K) came out the hard-luck loser for the visitors.
Nathan Schmidt (2/2), Kaden Harney (2/3 R), and Brady Aubut (2/3 2B 2R) each had multiple hits the for home squad. The Crimson pulled ahead for good in the bottom of the fourth when Harney scored on a Maddex Van Slooten (1/2, RBI) suicide squeeze and Dylan Vokal (1/2, RBI) followed with an RBI single to score Brady Aubut. With the victory, the Crimson remain undefeated at home on Maple Grove soil.
