After two first-inning Knights runs, Junior Matthew Kuno (W, 6IP, 6H, 2ER, 3K) pitched five scoreless to pick up the win, and senior Ian Schock (SV, IP, 0H, 0R, K) pitched a no-hit seventh to secure the save. Three Crimson players belted out multi-hit games, including senior Connor Johnson (2/4, R, 3RBI, HR), and juniors Kaden Harney (2/4, R, 2RBI, 2SB) and Preston Berg (2/3, R).

After STMA's initial two runs, the score remained 2-0 Knights until the top of the third when Maple Grove pushed across five runs as the first four Crimson reached base on a single from Berg, a hit-by-pitch by sophomore Vince Lenmark (1/1, R, HBP, BB), a single from junior Joey Limric (1/4, R), and a 2-run single from Harney. After a fly out for the first out of the inning and with two runners on, Johnson unloaded to left for his third home run of the season - a 3-run shot that capped the MG scoring.
