Junior Evan O'Dwyer (L, 3IP, 7H, 5ER, 3K) took the loss for the Crimson, giving up a solo home run in the top of the first, after which Spring Lake Park never looked back. The Panthers scored another five in the third inning and Maple Grove could never get the bats going to respond. Junior Gavin Kustermann, senior Connor Johnson, and senior Maddex Van Slooten each had lone hits for MG. On the mound, junior Matthew Kuno (3IP, H, 0R, 4K) pitched three scoreless innings in relief and sophomore Vince Lenmark (IP, 0H, 0R, 2K) pitched a shutout seventh.
