Gloves Fail the Crimson Amid Loss to Rival Orioles

Junior Evan O'Dwyer (L, 4.2IP, 4H, 0ER, 3K) started on the mound for the Crimson and pitched well into the fifth inning allowing only one unearned run in four innings of work before the Orioles pounced on several Maple Grove defensive miscues, scoring an additional seven unearned runs and sending the visitors home with their third loss of the season.

At the plate, senior Connor Johnson (2/4, 2B, R) and junior Connor Wihlm (2/4) stayed hot, and sophomore Beckett Shimpa (2/3, 2B, SF, RBI) joined the multiple-hit squad. But in the end the bats couldn't make up for the errors and the Crimson nine fell to 3-3 on the season.
