O'Dwyer allows two hits over six innings, Stowe closes things out

Senior Evan O'Dwyer (W 6IP 2H 0R 4K) took the hill for Maple Grove and pitched deep into the game to earn the victory. The Crimson picked up an early run as senior Preston Berg (1/3 2B R) laced a double with two outs in the first and scored on senior Oliver Taynton's (1/3 RBI) RBI single. In the following inning, junior Damian Seubert (2/3 3B SB R) tripled with one out and scored on senior Connor Wihlm's (0/1 SF RBI) sacrifice fly. Junior Beckett Shimpa (2/3 2x2B) added to the MG hit tally with his own multiple-hit day, hammering a double to right field and later another double to left. However, both teams were unable to score after the second, and sophomore Brogan Stowe (SV IP 0H 0R 2K) followed O'Dwyer's fine pitching performance by getting three outs in the seventh to picked up the save.
